The semiannual Stout Game Expo, SGX, is the largest event of its kind in the Upper Midwest. They’ll help you find the right degree and program and answer all your questions about Capella. Students are taught how to both use and create technology, so that they can express their ideas and gain confidence in applying whatever tools are needed to accomplish their goals.

The New York Times recently published a glowing report on the latest charter school “success” story – Design Tech High School in Redwood Shores, California. The company is also the second largest software manufacturer in the United States. Design Tech High School (d.tech) was founded as a new model of public education, offering students an alternative to the more traditional learning methods of existing San Mateo Union High School District (SMUHSD) high schools. Christina began her career in education as a special education assistant. Serving in schools, Christina saw the need for high quality Special Education teachers.
Design Tech offers students the chance to create sports teams based on interest. The first sport introduced to the school was Basketball during the school's inaugural year. Since the inaugural year, the school has expanded to six sports for both Boys and Girls consisting of girls volleyball, cross country, basketball, soccer, boys baseball, girls softball, swimming, track, and sailing.

As a free, California public charter school, d.tech does not charge tuition. The school receives state funding per student, plus financial support from our d.tech community to fulfill our mission.
